Artist Statement

 School shootings have become part of the U.S. American experience over the last 25 years. My work focuses on the devastating effects of an active shooter. The lives that are taken are only part of the catastrophic consequences that come from these appalling events. My work shines a light on the second amendment and examines whether the right to public safety should outweigh the right to own military grade weapons.
